Rural Homestay

Rural Homestay is a weather-adaptive lodging model sponsored by Oxalis. It is based on the construction of 10 flood-resistant floating houses for households in Tan Hoa. Each Rural Homestay house is invested with a sum of 150 million VND, according to a non-refundable sponsorship agreement between Oxalis and the homeowners.

Each homestay is designed with spacious and modern facilities, ranging from 26m2 to 40m2, suitable for 1-3 people. The homestay is managed by Tu Lan Lodge, committed to providing professionalism and convenience to customers. In addition, the host is always ready to serve and guide guests throughout their stay at the homestay.

The homestay is situated within the homeowner’s yard, surrounded by majestic limestone mountains and vast, grassy valleys. Guests can enjoy the area’s beautiful natural scenery from the homestay. The gentle Rao Nan River runs through the valley, with its emerald green color and silt deposits on both sides of the riverbank after each rainfall.

For those who prefer to stay close to the local community when visiting Tan Hoa village, this homestay is a great accommodation option. The houses are built within the courtyards of local homes and are designed to provide an experience similar to that of the native people.

Rural Homestay is a floating house designed to rise with the water during floods in Tan Hoa, allowing guests to continue their normal activities. This provides a unique opportunity for guests to experience local life on a floating house and explore the beautiful natural scenery that is only visible during flood days.

When staying here, guests have many activities to participate in such as exploring the Tú Làn cave, taking an ATV off-road tour to discover the Tân Hoá Lim forest, cycling to explore corn fields, visiting villages and experiencing local dinner services to better understand the culture and life of the people in the region known as the “flood-prone region”.
