- Accumulate knowledge and experience in using ATV quad bike: We ensure your safety and a complete experience by providing professional guides and safety assistants during the tour. You will learn how to drive an ATV motorcycle and share it with others.

ATV Adventure Tour in Lim Forest – Kong’s Home is organized in Tan Hoa village, Minh Hoa, Quang Binh, Vietnam, with a duration of 2 hours. The maximum number of participants per tour is 10, offering an exciting and adventurous experience for those who love exploration and self-challenge. The tour operates year-round, excluding the peak rainy season.
ATV Tour to Explore Lim Forest offers two daily departure slots for customers to choose from:
- Morning Session: 9:00 AM
- Afternoon Session: 2:00 PM
Itinerary
The itinerary of the experience includes:
Step 1: Safety training and instructions
Visitors will be instructed on how to drive the ATV quad bike and receive safety instructions before starting the trip.
Step 2: Trial run
Once familiar with the vehicle, you will practice operating it under the guidance and supervision of safety assistants.
Step 3: Route briefing
The tour guide will brief visitors on the route of the tour, including difficult locations and steep slopes or stream crossings.
Step 4: ATV Self-Driving Experience
This segment promises adventurers thrilling and extraordinary experiences in the lush green forests of Quang Binh, including:
- Palm forest: Visitors will drive on challenging terrain through the beautiful palm forest, enjoying the pristine landscape, and immersing themselves in nature.
- Lim Forest: Visitors will drive through the strictly preserved Lim Forest, appreciating its timeless beauty and listening to the stories of the forest guardians.
- Sim flower forest: Visitors will ride on shaded paths, crossing wild streams, and admiring the beautiful scenery of the forest.
- Kong’s Home: The ATV tour will end with the challenge of driving through the tunnel where Kong lived, immersing yourself in the legendary atmosphere of the Kong – Skull Island movie.
At the end, visitors will return the ATV, take a break, and shower at the Oxalis tour operation office.
Tour price
Tour price: 700,000 VND per person (2 guests per vehicle with driver exchange); 1,000,000 VND per person (individual vehicle).
- Tour inclusions: VAT, ATV rental, Tour guide, Safety assistant, Water, and Travel insurance.
- Tour exclusions: Personal expenses and other expenses not listed in the “Tour inclusions” section.
- Cancellation policy:
To confirm your booking, you will be required to pay 100% of the tour fee after completing the booking process. You are entitled to cancel the tour 7 days before the departure date and Oxalis will refund the full amount of the tour fee. If you cancel after 7 days, no refund will be given. How to get to Tan Hoa village
The ATV tour is in Tan Hoa village, Minh Hoa district, about 70 kilometers from Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and 120 kilometers from Dong Hoi city to the northwest. To get here, you can either self-drive or book a private car transfer service from Oxalis from Dong Hoi to Tan Hoa. Please contact our staff for more information and to book a car for your trip.
Requirements and Important Information
Minimum age to participate: 8 years old.
Minimum age to self-driving: 16 years old.
Note: Children under 16 years old can still participate but must sit in the back seat with an adult in control.
- Weight limit: 150kg per vehicle
- Not suitable for people with heart problems, digestive disorders, or pregnant women.
- Wear comfortable clothing, sneakers, or sandals.
- Bring extra water and sunscreen for your personal use.
- Follow the usage regulations and safety rules as instructed by the tour guide throughout the tour.
